
Dr. H. Hande Mert graduated from the Chemical Engineering Department of Yildiz Technical University with a Faculty Degree in 2003. She was then received MSc in Chemical Engineering from the same Department in 2005. Between 2005 and 2011, she worked as a R&D Engineer in an Fragrance Company in İstanbul.
In 2010 she was started working as a Research Assistant at the Chemical and Process Engineering Department of Yalova University. She received her PhD in 2016 from the same Department. During her PhD she was studied on miniemulsion polymerization, high internal phase emulsions (HIPEs) and Pickering-polyHIPEs.
Dr. H. Hande Mert became an Assistant Professor in 2018, and Associate Professor (Docent) in 2020. She is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department of Yalova University. Her research focuses on latent heat storage, phase change materials (PCMs), and preparation of Pickering-HIPEs from various functional nanoparticles.
